OVEN-700-2000

Composite Curing Oven

OVERVIEW

This range of Oven-700-2000 is built to the highest standards. They are fully-featured professional industrial curing ovens.

As standard, the Oven-700-2000 range offers a heavy-duty stainless steel interior, increased accuracies, quicker responding, and continuous operation at 200°C.

The panels of the oven are made using thermally isolated steel skins with a high-performance insulated core which is based on the ceramic fiber. This means that the thermal performance of the oven is highly efficient.

They feature our latest touchscreen control system which offers intuitive control designed for industrial ovens.

This composite oven is specifically tailored for composite use, including curing or post-curing laminates, prepregs, thermoplastics, castings and moulds.

FEATURES EXPLAINED

Touchscreen Controller
The intuitive 4.3-inch LED touchscreen interface provides unrivaled usability and process feedback. This screen features an independent automatic overheat safety control and an integral timer package.

Ramp and Soak Programming
Developed by UAVOS, the controller offers a wide range of configurations, each of which can be custom-tailored to meet the needs of the material or product. This is where it is possible to configure units and points.
There is a standard operating mode and a program-operating mode with 19 pre-programmed options.
The password-enabling protection option can also be used to prevent unauthorized/accidental modifications of the saved programs.
To supply power to the vacuum pump, there is a 220V socket to switch off the power at the end of the set heating cycle.

Vacuum Ports
The 2-vacuum ports on the side of the oven allow connecting a vacuum bag inside the oven to a vacuum pump outside. As standard the oven features Camozzi 1463 8/6-¼ and 1510 8/6-¼ BSP female sockets both inside and outside of the oven.

Tube diameter 8/6 (outer diameter/inner diameter, mm). The tube inside the oven must be high temperature and rigid when heated, otherwise, the vacuum may compress the tube and the vacuum supply will stop (Camozzi PTFE 8/6 Teflon Tube)

For the main power supply to the oven, there is a connector that just plugs into the side here. It operates at 380 volts, but 240 volts is possible and can run on either 50 or 60 hertz frequencies.

TYPICAL USES

Prepreg Curing Oven
With two separate vacuum ports in the oven and fully programmable precision temperature control with ramp and soak functionality, OVEN-700-2000 is the ideal workshop out of the autoclave prepreg oven for carbon fibre and glass fibre components and tooling.

Oven for Curing Composite Parts and Moulds
Many resin systems used in components or composite tooling do not achieve their full mechanical properties without an elevated temperature post-cure. OVEN-700-2000 can be used in production areas to post-cure composite laminates, coatings, and tools to speed up their cure.

Casting Resin and Silicone Curing Oven
The precise temperature control, low running costs, and practical workshop dimensions of OVEN-700-2000 make it an ideal resin curing oven for casting resins such as polyurethane and epoxy. By oven-curing fast-cast polyurethane castings, improved mechanical properties can be achieved whilst considerably shortening demould times, allowing moulds to be cycled faster - increasing production and quality.

Materials Research and Development Lab Oven
The precision PID temperature control coupled with multi-stage programmable ramp and soak functionality, excellent internal heat consistency, and standard integrated data logging functionality make OVEN-700-2000 an excellent lab oven for material research whilst its three-tier safety systems ensure a high level of safety and reliability.
